The Wee Hours is a registered Edinburgh-based charity that provides essential items to people experiencing homelessness and rough sleeping. Every Friday night, our team distributes supplies like underwear, toiletries, tents, sleeping bags, and bottled water.

2. How can I donate or support your work?

You can support us through one-time or monthly donations, by sponsoring specific items (like sleeping bags or tents), or by becoming a business sponsor. Visit our Donate or Sponsor page to get started.

3. Do you accept clothing or physical donations?

Yes, we accept certain physical donations, especially new underwear, socks, hygiene items, and weather-appropriate gear. For hygiene and safety reasons, we cannot accept used clothing. Please contact us in advance to check what’s most needed.

4. Can I volunteer with The Wee Hours?

We’re a small team but always open to volunteer interest. If you'd like to help with Friday night distributions or in other ways, please get in touch via our Contact page. We’ll let you know when opportunities open up.

We distribute essentials every Friday night from 9:00 to 10:00 PM at Waverley Bridge, in central Edinburgh. We work alongside a care van that provides hot food and drinks to ensure people get both nourishment and practical supplies.
